AL FARABI'S PERSPECTIVE ON ISLAMIC EDUCATION

Report to UNESCO of the International Commission on Education for the Twenty-first Century that education throughout life is based upon four pillars: learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, and learning to be. Explain your point of view, how UNESCO’s four pillars of education can reach perfect human being (al-insan al-kamil).  Are those pillars enough  or is there anything missing? (Mr. YAUMI)
For me, The four pillars of education , : learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, and learning to be are enough to be perfect human on the grounds that the first goal the human learn something is start from asking questions such as : what is that/this?who is that/this? How is that/this?.it means..learning to know, human learn something to know what is it.
Based on knowledge they begin to do something whether it is good or bad deeds it depends on how they interpret it .then they begin to think that they can not live alone but need to live with other people therefor they try to build social community to live together.
After that they start thinking to be what they want such as some of them decide to be a president, and the other think to be businessmen, traders, and teachers. choice of different professions was the attitude of every people to determine their own way of life.that four stages are is a series of four pillars of education according to what was raised by UNESCO as a goal to reach perfect human being.
thanks…….!!
